CAS is committed to building the strength and scope of the Australian Masters Games as our nation’s largest multi-sport event and to promoting the important contribution made by Masters athletes to the Australian community. The Australian Masters Games provides a wonderful platform for some 10,000 Masters athletes from over 50 sports to showcase their enthusiasm and talent. The Australian Masters Games has been held for over 30 years and has provided a major legacy to Australian community sport.

Past Australian Masters Games since 1987

The Australian Masters Games has been held every two years since 1987 and has made a major contribution to masters sport and to the local economies hosting the event.

Since the first AMG held in Hobart in 1987 over 135,000 athletes have participated, over 20,000 volunteers have supported the events and some $180m has been generated to the benefit of local communities.
