Alexandra will be a passionate advocate and a collaborative leader, working to grow participation and give our athletes the best chance to reach their full potential.
“Alexandra will lead a strong Gymnastics Australia management team, collaborating with the Gymnastics Australia Board, and indeed boards and management at a state level as the sport of gymnastics continues to evolve,” Heap said.

“The sport is one that provides essential life skills of fundamental movement for children to that of inspiring and courageous athletes. I look forward to working with the gymnastics community and continuing the great work of the team. I thank the Board who are entrusting me to lead this amazing sport and to be part of its proud community.”
