Ned Coten - President
- 2022 elected as President of CAS
- Chair and CEO with over two decades of board experience across the commercial and not for Profit sectors with particular experience in: sport, strategy, governance, technology and change management.
- With an impressive background in leadership experience including:
- Chair of Basketball Australia
- Chair of The Contenders Advisory Board
- Chair of Refbook Advisory Board
- Ned is the CEO and a major shareholder in EngageRM, a technology platform with clients in Australia, US and the UK.
- Previously the Managing Director of Acorn Brand Strategy and the Chief Executive Officer of the Victoria Titans and Adelaide Force FC.
- Ned holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, represented Australia in the 1983 U20 World Basketball Championship, competed in the National Basketball League with Perth Wildcats and North Melbourne Giants, and has played senior level football.
Rob Bradley AM (CEO of CAS)
- Rob served as CAS President from 2010-2022
- Involved in the Australian sporting scene for over 35 years having been one of the early graduates of the Canberra University Bachelor of Sports Administration with a subsequent MBA at Southern Cross University.
- As CEO of CAS Rob has worked to build a strong Sport, Health and Education cross-sector collaboration to advocate for the vital contribution that sport makes to our nation.
- CEO of Royal Life Saving Society Australia for 16 years significantly increasing the financial strength, community awareness of key issues and industry leadership
- Early work was in operations and development at the Australian Rugby Union for 7 years which included building and implementing the Australian Rugby Pathway
- Held numerous national and international chair and board positions across sporting, leisure and recreation, lifesaving and drowning prevention organisations and interest groups.
- Successfully worked with and through Government to towards policy and legislative change in areas such as GST, home pool fencing and compulsory swimming and water safety education.
- In 2018 Rob was made a Member (AM) in the General Division in the Order of Australia for ‘significant service to sport through management and community development, and as an advocate for health and water safety initiatives’ at the national level for over 30 years.
- Rob has been a director of CAS since 2009 and commenced as Chief Executive Officer in January 2013
Graham Fredericks - Director
- Up to November 2013 Graham was one of Australia’s longest serving CEOs of a national sporting organisation having held the position with Cycling Australia for 18 years
- He has been a Director of Australian Commonwealth Games Association and a Director of the Sport Australia Hall of Fame
- In 2004 Graham was named Sport Executive of the Year at the Australian Sport Awards
- Graham is a former Executive Director of ACT Rugby Union and is currently consulting in sport and association management
- Graham is currently consulting on Strategic Planning and Pacific Development to the Oceania Cycling Confederation
- Graham has been a Member of the CAS Board since 2003 and was made a Life Member in 2022.
Neil Dalrymple - Director
- Neil took on the role of CEO of World Bowls in December 2022.
- Neil held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Bowls Australia (BA) from May 2007 – 22
- During his tenure at BA, Neil spearheaded numerous innovative strategic and operational changes in the organisation. Neil’s focused on the ongoing sustainability and vitality of the sport of Bowls, both in Australia and internationally.
- While at the helm of BA, Neil oversaw the ongoing professionalisation of the organisation. He deeply engaged in strengthening the relationships between BA and each of the State and Territory Associations, as well as relationships with other key partners, such as the Australian Sports Commission and World Bowls.
- Under Neil’s leadership, BA has expertly managed the continued improvement of Australia’s elite bowler squads, culminating in Australia’s Jackeroos’ most successful performance to date at the World Bowls Championships in 2016 – and standout results at the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games.
- Among Neil’s many innovations as CEO a standout is the creation of the very successful Australian Premier League. This biannual competition for professional teams, now known as the Bowls Premier League (BPL), is attracting a wealth of new spectators and fans to a short form and highly exciting version of Bowls. With an eye to broadening the reach and appeal of Bowls for participants and spectators alike, Neil and BA secured weekly coverage of the sport via the Bowls Show screening on SBS.
- Neil and the BA Team also masterminded the relocation of BA’s flagship annual
competition, the Australian Open, to the Gold Coast in partnership with Tourism Events Queensland and the Gold Coast City Council. - Recognising the central role Bowls clubs and players play in the viability of the sport, Neil has also worked actively to ensure club sustainability. Neil and BA have created the nationwide network of Regional Bowls Managers.
- Neil has previously held roles with NT Cricket (CEO) and Softball Australia (CEO), as well as two separate periods working for Cricket Australia.
- Neil has an excellent understanding of and strong commitment to the myriad health and well-being benefits engagement with sport has for all Australians, regardless of gender, background or ability.

Heather Garriock - Director
- Heather is currently CEO of Taekwondo Australia and is a highly experienced sports professional with an extensive history and career in football across all levels.
- A former national team representative with the Matildas (130 caps), sports administrator, director of football and coach along with being a television and media commentator currently with Optus Sport.
- Heather is a student of the game and high-performance sport having obtained her Masters Degree in Education at the University of Sydney, she regularly speaks at workshops, conferences, and in her spare time a loving wife and mother to three beautiful children.
- Making her international debut in 1999 at the age of 16, Heather played for the Matildas in a career spanning 15 years which included both the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympics, and three FIFA Women’s World Cups (2003, 2007 and 2011).
- Founder of HGM – a start-up coaching business that works with athletes, entrepreneurs and young professionals helping them to be the very best versions of themselves.
- Non-Executive Member of Football Australia’s Board.
- Member of the CAS Board since 2022.
Dinah Glykidis - Director
- Currently the Chief Executive Officer of Boxing Australia having worked as a sport administrator for the past 15 years across 2 very successful sports in swimming and rugby league.
- Dinah has held a number of key positions within the Queensland Rugby League including:
- NRL SIS Operator
- QRL Competitions Executive
- Team Manager
- Dinah has also worked as Accounts and Membership officer at Queensland Swimming.
- Served as the President of the Mabel Park State High School P&C Committee
- Member of the CAS Board since 2022.
