Comments attributed to Sport and Recreation Minister David Templeman:
“Sport and recreation plays a huge role in the physical and mental health of our communities and should be a part of every person’s life regardless of where they live.
“To get people more involved we need to make sure we have the right facilities in place and that where needed, these facilities are useable day and night.
“It is great to see so many clubs and local governments take up the opportunity to apply for funding through the CSRFF and CNLP. Congratulations to all approved applicants.”
